Vasundhara Performing Arts Centre has reached yet another milestone and is celebrating its twenty fifth year of Cultural Service to the Classical music and Dance Community during the year 2010/2011.
The Silver Jubilee Festival titled Vasundharotsava, which commenced during December 2010 will be conducted throughout the year in 4 phases showcasing talents 15 yrs and older along with Nationally/Internationally acclaimed artistes
The Festival not only presenst the Veterans of Classical Music and Dance from around the globe in Mysore and felicitate them, but also provided a reputable platform for young and upcoming performers alike, playing a major role in defending Mysore as the Cultural capital of Karnataka. The festival will presents a variety of Indian Classical Dance (Bharatnatya, Kathak, Kuchupudi, Mohiniattam, Kathakali, Oddissi, Manipuri, Chau Dance , Kudiattam) & Indain Classical Music (Carnatic Vocal, Hindustani Vocal, Veena, Rudra Veena, Flute (Bansuri), Violin, Mridanga, Sitar, Sarod, Santoor, Harmonium Etc). Lecture Demonstrations, Seminars, Workshops and Symposiums are also conducted by experts during the festival.
